Roraima Comes from Roro-imã which means green hill in the indigenous language Pemon (Ingarikó.)

Capital - Boa Vista

Location and Access - is a Brazil northernmost state, crossed by the equator and wedged between two countries, Venezuela and Guyana. Access can be by air, by the International Airport of Boa Vista, or land, by Venezuela or Manaus through the BR-174 (paved) or the Cooperative Republic of Guyana through the BR-401 (partially paved).
